Spok, Inc. Recurring Revenue Account Manager in Hopkins, Minnesota

Description The Recurring Revenue Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing Maintenance revenue. The manager will serve as the "owner" of the maintenance business and may be eligible for an incentive program. Spok currently has approximately 1,500+ customers with Maintenance Agreements and this position will be in constant contact with customers in managing their maintenance accounts. Responsibilities > Ensure that customers are invoiced the appropriate amount based on the software licensed - includes reviewing all closed orders to determine maintenance add-ons. May also involve researching the historical transactions and presenting the information to the customer. > Provide quotes and obtain PO from customers and/or third-party partners. > Create and update recurring billing information in NetSuite financial system. > Invoice customers for maintenance; manage recurring billing information in NetSuite financial system; facilitate renewal billing. Ensure all customers are accurately invoiced for maintenance based on the amount of licensed software and service level and that amounts billed are recognized properly. > Verify revenue recognition and research exceptions. Work closely with accounting team to ensure accuracy. > Work closely with accounts receivable, customer support, functional managers, and sales team as issues arise with customers impacting maintenance accounts. > Attend hand-off meetings to understand maintenance impact of projects on a proactive basis. > Communicate to and ensure that customers understand the various service levels and assist the customers in selecting the appropriate level. Communicate the value and benefits of Spok maintenance and support to decision makers. Maintain knowledge of account's current and historical maintenance program. > Increase maintenance revenue through the conversion to higher service levels. > Keep management informed of major changes to revenue. Required Education, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's degree > Strong experience with Excel > Experience in revenue accounting principles > Strong analytical skills > Excellent customer service skills and the ability influence decisions > Experience with NetSuite or similar systems > Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task > Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of people and articulate Spok's product value and service levels > Strong record of job stability and a proven history of performance success > Aggressive self-starter with a great attitude and strong organizational skills Spok, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Spok Holdings, Inc.
