Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Hopkinton, NH to bring on a CNC Machinist on 1 st or 2 nd shift
Position: CNC Machinist Level 1
Schedule:
1st Shift Work Schedule: 5 - 8-hour shifts
2nd Shift Work Schedule: 4 - 10-hour shifts
Overtime as necessary
Flexible scheduling in agreement with supervisor
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00/hr
Job Summary:
Job Summary: The role of the CNC Machinist Level 1 is to produce quality machined parts by learning the setup and operation of CNC machines. This position is responsible for compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. This position will have a basic understanding of CNC machining.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide basic solutions in technical areas
Generate ideas to modify existing programs to enhance efficiencies
Identify opportunities for process improvement
Responsible for checking parts to print and models using various inspection techniques
Assist with design of basic fixtures for machining parts
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
Wear proper PPE for job function being performed
Assist with cleaning and preventative maintenance of machines, tools and workstations
Perform dimensional and visual inspection of parts per specifications using basic measuring equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRMENTS:
Acknowledgement of WinMax and/or Mastercam programming software
Basic knowledge of SolidWorks modeling software
Acknowledgement of 3 axis, 5 axis and/or lathe machining
Acknowledgement of fixturing techniques
Acknowledgement of high tolerance machining
Acknowledgement of geometric dimensioning
Basic knowledge of shop mechanics, mathematics and measurement
Acknowledgement of multiple types of materials
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required
A minimum of 1 year of CNC operation preferred
Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
