Aerotek Assembler/Soldering Technician in Horsham, Pennsylvania

One of our largest manufacturing company who custom display systems for aircraft cockpits, shipboards/submarines applications, and ground-based platforms, is looking for an Electronics Technician to support their 1st shift!

This person NEEDS:

Assembling/soldering experience

Thru-Hole Soldering

Mechanical Aptitude

Their J-standard certification with all modules completed (wires, terminals, PCB, coating, encapsulation and staking, surface mount assemblies, and inspection criteria)

This individual will be working in the Overhaul & Repair Assembly Department (O&R)

  • Responsible for repairing displays, components, subassemblies that were sent back to Oppenheimer that are defective or need repaired

  • Responsible for using basic hand tools and power tools such as screw drivers and torque tools to disassemble and assemble products

  • Should be proficient with reading blueprints and work instructions to assemble components to meet the customer specifications

  • Will require to perform thru-hole soldering under a microscope at times as well

Hours:

Clean Manufacturing Facility

1st Shift - 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday Thru Friday - Overtime available on Saturdays when available
