Through this we have truly demonstrated that, “We Build For Life”.  Whirlwind Steel is a family-owned full-service manufacturer of Pre-Engineered Metal Building Systems, and full lines of Architectural, Commercial Industrial, and Agricultural Metal Building and Roofing Components.   * Position Overview This customer service representative at Whirlwind is responsible for the pre-sale and post-sale support for our Act Building group.  Utilizing our core values to build Relationships with Mutual Respect the success of the division is dependent on the entire team’s effort to deliver our projects in agreeance with our brand promise of No Headaches.  The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to work closely with internal and external customers.   * Skills* Prior experience with Microsoft Office products * Prior experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building Industry is highly desirable. * Experience with estimating software is preferred, but not required. * Experience with order entry software is preferred but not required. * Basic knowledge of Geometry, Fractions, and Decimals * Effective questioning and listening skills are required * Ability to continuously foster and grow a can-do spirit within our team environment * Ability to operate efficiently with stringent time requirements   * Requirements* Work closely with Sales Team and Customers to define scopes of work to estimate * Prepare quotation/ contract documents that clearly explain products provided. * Prepare, compile, and enter ACT building orders. * Work closely with Sales Team and Internal Support Teams to onboard new orders * Effectively manage logistics of buyout items to ensure deliveries within customer expected timeframes * Help the team achieve operational goals: sales, profitability and customer satisfaction * Exceptional punctuality regarding, estimates, change orders, reports, and other duties to be performed
