Insight Global Asset Management Program Manager in Houston, Texas

Job Description

A client is looking to add an Asset Management Program Manager to their organization, partnering with the Director of Strategic Asset Management to strategize and create improved processes to enhance the overall success of the organization across multiple projects and stakeholders. The Program Manager will coordinate multiple projects across multiple programs and project managers without directly managing them in a matrix organization. Responsible for ensuring all team members understand how the programs align with the strategic organizational and asset management objectives and coordinates their efforts to move strategic programs forward and while developing and executing project initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, who comes from either an upstream or downstream oil & gas background with leadership skills and has a creative outlook on different strategies to reach the goals / timelines which contribute to the projects impacting the business of the organization. This is a permanent position offering a competitive benefits and holiday package. On a weekly basis the individual will work a 9/80 schedule, in office Tuesday - Thursday, working from home Monday and Friday with every other Friday off.

Skills and Requirements

-At least 10 years of experience working for an upstream or downstream oil & gas company

-Strong understanding of risk, strategy, maintenance, and project management

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, (Mechanical, Civil / Structural, Chemical, Petroleum)

-Comfortable working with various project management software (SAP, Workday, Maximo / Tririga)

-Extremely organized and detail oriented

-Advanced within creating presentations and publicly speaking to large groups of internal and external stakeholders

-Skilled in conflict resolution and effectively communicating the program's objective and vision -PMP Certification

-Master's Degree null
