Jacobs Assistant Project Manager- K12 in Houston, Texas
We’re seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Missouri City, TX. Someone who can use their vast experience in the industry and apply it to today’s challenges.
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be preparing RFIs, RFPs, reviewing the scope of the project and contract values, and providing project oversight to all craft trades at site. Your skills in negotiation, managing the site work, and project controls will guide you towards the best outcome for the client and Jacobs. By building a strong working relationship with the client, you will achieve great success here at Jacobs!

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or related Engineering
5+ years of as working on large building construction.
Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Experience in design and task management of K12 or Higher Ed projects.
Experience with cost estimating and services during construction projects.
Proficient in use of Bluebeam, Prolog, Kahua, MS Project, Primavera P6
