The Cigna Group Business Analytics Senior Advisor - Evernorth Accountable Care - Hybrid in Houston, Texas
Position Overview:
The Evernorth Accountable Care (ENAC) Economics team's mission is to develop value-based care models and networks that deliver improved outcomes for patients, providers, and clients. This role primarily focuses on fee-for-service contracting for the Evernorth network and will expand into value-based care contract design and evaluation to support the ENAC strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fast-paced, in-depth analytics to inform network contracting decisions
Perform scenario testing to identify the best contract terms for proposals to network groups
Collaborate with payer teams to develop a comprehensive Evernorth network
Research and identify best practices in value-based care contract design
Perform ad-hoc analyses in partnership with the contracting team to advise providers on performance and guide new value-based care opportunities
Develop and propose innovative VBC contract structures and build new models to assess their viability and impact
Qualifications:
This position requires strong healthcare specific data and analytics skills, healthcare and insurance content knowledge, communication skills, technical skills across platforms, and project management.
6+ years hands-on experience in healthcare specific analytics, finance, and/or actuarial/underwriting
Background or knowledge in medical economics or network contracting is highly preferred
Proficiency in technical tools and platforms such as Excel, R Studio, SAS, SQL, Databricks and data visualization tools
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to derive actionable insights from data
Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, manage complexity and drive results
Ability to navigate and contribute within a highly-matrixed environment
Adept at building new collaborative relationships
Go getter who enjoys problem solving and creating innovative solutions in partnership with various stakeholders
Thrives in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,100 - 181,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
