Wolters Kluwer Lead Enterprise Architect Microsoft Office 365 in Houston, Texas
This role is part of the GBS Workplace Technology (WPT) engineering team providing IT services to a global userbase of over 25.000 colleagues. The WPT engineering team consists of architects and engineers that design, implement and support enhancements to existing services and new services.
You will have the opportunity to lead key technology initiatives to bring innovation and improvements of productivity services, innovate our security compliance and standards and participate in our workplace developments.
Work activities as part of this role will consist of leading the engineering team for development and enhancements of all Microsoft Office 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Copilot.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Microsoft Office 365 technical architecture and engineering team providing services to a global userbase of 25,000 colleagues
Promote and drive key strategic initiatives to bring innovation and improvements of communication and collaboration services, innovate our security controls and standards, integration of acquisitions and participate in our Modern Workplace developments
Take accountability for the end-to-end delivery of solutions against a predefined scope of work within these programs
Contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and management of systems
Help ensure stakeholders adhere to IT strategic management approach and timetables while developing and communicating plans to drive the strategy forward
Contribute to the development of policies, standards and guidelines for IT strategy development and planning
Collaborate with, and facilitate stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements while seeking to fully address client needs
Review IT services for compliance with legislation and specifies any required changes
Actively monitor for, and seeks, opportunities, new methods, trends, capabilities and products to the advancement of the organization
Capture and prioritize market and environmental trends, business strategies and objectives, and identifies the business benefits of alternative strategies
Qualifications:
A minimum of ten years of progressive information technology experience in a global matrixed environment with at least 3 in a lead Microsoft Office 365 engineering role and at least 5 years of Microsoft Office 365
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
Microsoft Office 365 certification; MCSE, MCSA, MCITP: EA, MCTS or similar preferred
Deep subject matter expert technology skills in all Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Viva Engage and Copilot
Transformation and migration experience to and from Office 365 including mail migrations, SharePoint (portal) site transitions, automated client (re)configurations using native Microsoft and 3rd party tools such as BitTitan
Experience with all current supported client software and connection technologies including Windows 10 and 11, Office for Windows and Mac, IMAP, POP3, and mobile M365 apps
Experience with mass-mail solutions including Mailgun, SendGrid, and MailChimp
Experience with SPF, DKIM, DMARC mail security controls
Experience and understanding of modern SPAM and malware protection such as Office 365, Azure and Defender Advanced Threat Protection
Experience with eDiscovery to discover and collect information for legal purposes
Knowledge of Intune Mobile Application Management and Mobile Device Management
On-premises Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and associated identity solutions as ADFS
Strong resource management skills and ability to lead 4 direct reports.
Recent experience in defining and working within traditional w, Agile &/Or Scrum DevOPS environments
Ability to work onsite hybrid remote 8 days a month at one of our posted locations.
