Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Material Handler to operate a large forklift ( big red taylor, hyster, or heavy forklift ), managing heavy materials such as shell plate, pipe, I beam, and flat bar. The role involves moving materials from rail cars in our yard to the shop, loading and unloading materials from trucks, and organizing materials around the facility. Additional responsibilities include performing shipping, receiving, and documentation tasks, as well as stenciling materials once unloaded.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.
Work Environment
This position involves working both outside in the yard and inside the shop, with exposure to varying weather conditions. The standard day shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Candidates should be comfortable with rotating to a second shift in the future, following an initial 6 months on the first shift and 2-4 months on the second shift, before rotating back.
