Paralegal – Insurance Defense

Adecco is proud to partner with a leading law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with seasoned attorneys on high-profile cases, representing some of the nation’s largest companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Assist attorneys in managing all phases of insurance defense cases, from initial case assessment through trial preparation and resolution.
Document Preparation: Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents with a high degree of accuracy.
Discovery Management: Coordinate and manage the discovery process, including the collection, review, and production of documents, as well as preparing discovery responses.
Trial Preparation: Organize and prepare trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial notebooks. Assist with logistics and coordination during trial.
Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies, including researching case law, statutes, and legal precedents.
Client and Witness Interaction: Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information, coordinate meetings, and prepare for depositions and trial.
File and Records Management: Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, ensuring that all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
Scheduling: Manage and coordinate the attorneys' calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, and other key appointments.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including drafting correspondence, managing deadlines, and processing legal documents.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably in insurance defense or related litigation fields.
Education: Paralegal Certificate or Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, other paralegals, and support staff to ensure the effective management of cases.
Confidentiality: High level of professionalism and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
