Kelly Services Payroll Administrator HR Coordinator in Houston, Texas

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, on-site in Houston

Target Pay Rate: $40/hr

Requested start date – June 14, 2024 – coverage for extended leaves of absence – December 2024 min

What’s a typical day as Recruitment Coordinator/HR Support ? You’ll be:

  • Assisting with payroll, onboarding, and administrative support to the HR department

  • Administering offer letters and new hire paperwork to all new employees

  • Creating new employee credentials

  • Assisting with booking pertaining to the recruiting department

  • Providing general support to recruiters with the handling administrative tasks

  • Performing pre-employment screening (background checks) for new hires in multiple locations

  • Compiling safety meeting reports

  • Issuing badges for employees and contractors

  • Updating HR scorecard

  • Generating monthly man hours report

  • Adding new hires to Paycom

  • Updating sign-on bonus spreadsheet; updating referral spreadsheet

  • Managing personnel announcements; updating emergency contact list

  • Generating Paycom data reports for IT; creating new positions and org chart seats in Paycom

  • Coordinating with HR and IT to ensure employees receive company equipment in a timely manner

  • Providing backup and support to the payroll specialist role

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Hold an associate degree in an HR relevant field ( bachelor's degree preferred)

  • Have a minimum of three years of experience working in Payroll and HR support

  • Have previous experience in ATS and with Paycom system (preferred and highly desired)

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral

  • Possess strong organizational, planning, time-management, and analytical skills

  • Pay attention to detail and accuracy

  • Are proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and SharePoint

  • Can work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and needs

  • Can work independently while closely and appropriately coordinating with team members
