Actalent Power Systems Engineer in Houston, Texas
Description:
Currently sourcing for Power System Engineers in Houston, Texas.
Design and review of medium/low voltage electrical power generation, distribution and microgrid systems
Preparation of electrical documentation including Short Circuit, Arc Flash and Coordination, Power System, Grounding, Load Flow, Harmonics, Fault studies, and Transient studies using software such as ETAP/SKM
Preparation of other documentation including area classifications, drawings and reports, fugitive emissions studies, single line diagrams, and electrical BOMs as well as reports associated with electrical system studies
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to electrical systems
Provide engineering support to other departments as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have 8+ years of experience supporting power generation projects and 5+ years of experience working with ETAP/SKM
Experience and understanding within Power Delivery is required.
