Job Summary:

Generally responsible for partnering with leaders and clients to meet the evolving needs of the organization while managing, organizing and administering recruiting efforts for assigned divisions and onsite positions. Work will be performed under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-state organization.

  • Develop and execute a personal time management plan.

  • Create and implement marketing strategies to attract passive candidates.

  • Develop, manage and maintain a network of contacts.

  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict recruiting activity.

  • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.

  • Utilize the Hargrove online applicant tracking system to search for and manage candidates

  • Utilize other avenues to solicit candidates including social networking sites, industry related sites, contracted research search sites, etc.

  • Develop and manage recruitment advertisements.

  • Work closely with Universities to manage both the intern and coop programs for a multi-state organization.

  • Register for and attend job/career fairs or other related recruiting events.

  • Develop and manage recruiting materials such as handouts and promotional items for events.

  • Manage and process open position requests for Leaders and Project Managers.

  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood.

  • Source and assess candidates through both oral and written methods for open opportunities against appropriate job criteria prior to submitting to leadership for review.

  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring manager.

  • Participate in engineering discipline and recruiting meetings.

  • Research salary information.

  • Produce offers of employment.

  • Provide weekly recruiting reports.

  • Provide liaison services for onsite teammates. ​

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in recruiting preferably in the industrial engineering industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-level location.

  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills

  • Knowledge and application of company standards.

  • Knowledge of office administration procedures.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extreme multi-tasking.

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple job assignments.

  • Ability to analyze data, make judgments and develop reports.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with teammates, clients, and vendors.

  • Ability to be discreet in dealing with sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality in all areas.

  • Extreme attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to listen and ascertain the needs of teammates or clients.

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and other software as needed.

  • Ability to travel as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
