Position Description
- This position will provide comprehensive Analytical and Administrative Management support for the Natural Gas Operations Management and Field Operations organizations. Support includes, but is not limited to: Data accumulation, organization, interpretation and utilization, report writing, business process and procedure development / implementation and Administrative Management functions.
Responsibilities Include
Assist in the accumulation, review and communication of capital and expense financial information, as well as other Operational Administrative Management data that is collected via multiple data sources and individuals. Reporting information includes, but is not limited to: Budget, Forecast, Actuals, Variance Reports, Data required for various Business Reviews, Historical Comparisons / Trending, Financial and Non-Financial data required for Operational reporting, ad-hoc reports and data requests.
Analyze and understand reporting data; actively pursue cause of discrepancies, identify and communicate areas where data management and/or analytical results indicate a need for improvement
Develop mechanisms to identify, chart or otherwise document business processes impacting the various Operational Organizations
Includes developing, implementing, enhancing and/or monitoring the results of processes and procedures owned by Operations Management as well as Corporate-level required processes
Identify opportunities and develop automated solutions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting / forecasting processes, as well as other Operational needs
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple individuals and groups across the Company
Work individually or as part of a team to prepare a completed analysis and/or presentation that includes audit findings where a process improvement plan is required and/or has been implemented
Work individually or as part of a team in a consultative manner to successfully implement approved changes, monitor/audit the impact of that change, provide additional solution-oriented recommendations where necessary
Complete special projects as assigned
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Four-year professional degree with a minimum of 10 years direct work experience
12 years of related experience demonstrating competency will be considered
Proven Administrative Management experience including high-level reporting, creating and presenting training materials, authoring guidelines, presenting materials to a wide variety of organizations
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products including MS Access
High level of proficiency in the use of data query tools including use of ODBC connections, Essbase, Visual Basic using Excel, Access, Outlook and SQL, MS Access queries, forms, macros and modules. Experience with Hyperion and Power BI a plus
Proven ability to successfully develop, implement and monitor essential processes and procedures, including strong Business Writing skills
Ability to act as a subject-matter-expert regarding reporting and Administrative Management Processes and Procedures
Fundamental knowledge of and/or exposure to Natural Gas Operations Administrative Management functions and tasks
Knowledge of and experience with Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Tracking and Operational Administrative Management Reporting processes

Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the Company’s insurance carrier
Regularly required to sit for extensive periods of time, extensive keyboarding tasks, ability to reach with hands, arms, shoulders. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
