The Business Development and Strategic Integration (BDSI) Team under the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is looking for a dynamic, organized and self-starter Sr. Program Manager to help us build and expand on our change management process for GPO.
This role, reporting to the Head of BDSI, is responsible for executing strategies and business integrations to deliver on the GPOs most critical goals.
The ideal candidate has vast experience in Program Management with specific focus on complex Global Integrations, M&A or Business Development. They posses a broad skill set including analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, strategic conceptualization skills, strong influencing skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating an exceptional experience for our customers. You will work with business and tech teams of all sizes and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent the team. This person must also be customer-obsessed with strong self-motivation and project/product management skills.
In this role, your key responsibilities will be:
-Executing the global BDSI strategy.
-Own relationships with various business teams around the globe.
-Think big and invent new meaningful ways to improve GPOs brand, reach and scale.
-Demonstration of bringing multiple complex projects to successful completion is required.
-Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
-Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
-Experience building processes, project planning, and schedules.
-Experience using PM tools (i.e., Asana, MS Project, etc.).
-Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
-Approximately 30% travel
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
2+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience
Experience with Complex Integrations, M&A or Business Development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
