CTG Sr Software Engineer in Houston, Texas
Description
CTG is seeking to fill a Sr Software Engineer for our client in Houston, TX.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 month
Duties:
Migrate a financial web application from Excel to the Microsoft .NET Core framework. This involved the development of SQL Server databases, REST APIs, and React for front-end development.
Update a data capture web application from .NET 4.5 framework using MVC to Microsoft .NET Core framework, implementing React for a more intuitive and efficient user interface.
Initiate and maintained Azure DevOps repo pipelines to ensure seamless integration and continuous deployment of applications.
Regularly write and update Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures and views, contributing to the smooth operation and maintenance of applications.
Maintain, and deploy PowerBI reports to provide insightful analytics and data visualizations, aiding in data-driven decision-making processes for the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software within project timelines and standards. Participated in regular code reviews and technical discussions to ensure code quality and shared best practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
