ManpowerGroup Technical Writer in Houston, Texas
Our client, a leading energy and infrastructure project management firm, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Project Start-up department supporting the Commissioning and Start-up (CSU) Team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and collaborative abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Houston, TX 77027
Pay Range: $50.00-65.00 per hour
What’s the Job?
Develop commissioning and start-up procedures, O&M manuals, training materials, and modules for LNG projects
Collaborate with project teams, including engineering, construction, and subcontractors, to gather necessary information
Write and edit technical documents to meet project specifications and customer standards
Conduct research and analyze data to ensure clear and logical presentation of information
Review and copyedit content created by other team members
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Business Administration, or Technical Writing
8+ years of experience writing technical documents, including organization and collaboration with internal and external personnel
Familiarity with ANSI/NETA Standards, NFPA 70 E, IEC, ISA, and NFPA 59A standards
Strong understanding of technical procedures and document development
Ability to meet deadlines and follow project specifications
