Mercury Systems Senior Manager Compute Program Operations in Hudson, New Hampshire

Job Summary: Mercury is looking for an experienced Program Operations Senior Manager to lead a newly formed team responsible for creating a bridge between Operations and the P&L in the Compute line of business, and driving process rigor into EAC’s, proposals, and New Product Introductions. Job Responsibility: * Build the newly formed Compute Program Operations organization into a high performance team * Serve as main point of contact for operations into the Compute line of business – from material procurement through hardware delivery * Establish robust framework for assessing operations content on EAC’s, including risk & opportunity evaluation * Refine basis of estimate process for proposal activities * Stakeholder for business unit make-buy-where board * Approval responsibility for NPI gate process, ensuring production ready product at handoff point to the factory Required Qualification: * 8+ years' experience in multiple relevant disciplines including: Business Development, Engineering, and/or Program Management in the Aerospace and Defense industry. * Experience communicating complex concepts or ideas in a clear and concise manner to various levels of internal & external stakeholders * Experience defining processes and driving them into standard-work * Proficient in earned value management * Experience managing a budget * Proficient in ERP/MRP systems * Background in at least one of the following: manufacturing, operations, supply chain, planning, program management, process engineering * Experience working in an IPT structure * Experience leading teams and succeeding in a matrixed environment * Willingness to travel >25%, with expectation for high level of travel up front during team formation Preferred Qualification: * Experience with DoD & Aerospace Industries * Experience converting business area and customer requirements into executable strategies * Working knowledge of PowerBI, Mendix & advanced excel tools "This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
