In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
You will be an active member of the Software Engineering leadership team, shaping the culture and process while ensuring the staffing and technical needs of the business are met. You will work with our programs using your technical skills and experience to ensure the design, implementation, and sustainment of our software solutions meet and exceed customer expectations. You'll manage a group of 10 to 15 software engineers at our New Hampshire locations, providing them with technical mentoring, career guidance and performance feedback. You ll work closely with other product area leads in helping to set the technical direction for our products. In addition, you will work with peers at locations across the country to drive the craft of software engineering forward across the business.
Technical roles will include architecture and design reviews, strategic initiative implementation, bid and proposal development, software project leadership, next generation solution planning and other areas of engagement that align with your skills and career aspirations.
Qualified candidates should possess knowledge of software architectures, software industry best practices, and emerging software technologies.
As a leader within the Software Engineering, you will help guide engineers in their career advancement as well as push software initiatives and best practices across the organization. You will work alongside other highly motivated engineers passionate about software and protecting our military service personnel.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. The remote percentage is based on project needs but will be less than 50%.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Active Secret clearance required
BS degree in a STEM field and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience in the development of complex software intensive systems
Experience in leading software teams in either a functional and/or technical role
Demonstrated ability to guide individuals through complicated or difficult situations effectively and professionally
Experience presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Embedded software design and implementation
Software Defined Radios, Communication protocols, encryption, Digital Signal Processing
Foundational knowledge with DevSecOps
Deep knowledge in one or more of the following languages C , Rust, C
Embedded Linux Development experience
Model Based Engineering methods and tools
Cost Account Management/Earned Value Management
Cloud Native Technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
Prior experience with the use of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, INTEGRITY, FreeRTOS, etc.
Knowledge of open standards such as the Software Communications Architecture (SCA), Open Mission Systems (OMS), Big Iron, Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE), Vehicle Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY), C4ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) and Sensor Open System Architecture (SOSA)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
