The Warehouse Supervisor is a dynamic and multifaceted role working with warehouse management on several objectives. The primary tasks will revolve around the management of space with direct oversight into the storage operation conducted at HNH36 in Hudson NH. The role also oversees the recycling and surplus operation which consists of direct reports. Additionally, this role will serve as a liaison between the organizational stakeholders that comprise the warehouse, PE, Security, SHE, Facilities Projects, and the onsite warehouse staff.

The role will assist the warehouse manager in, but not be limited to:

  • Planning and approving space requirements while adhering to company, government, and AS9100 regulations.

  • Tracking materials

  • Maintaining metrics of various activities

  • Problem solving to creating innovative solutions to meet customers needs for storage requirements and all levels of management

  • Providing guidance and support to junior level members of the warehouse. A strong understanding of each group and their charter is imperative. (IT, Supply Chain, Facilities, Government Property, and Asset Management)

  • Identifying concerns and resolving them with the appropriate organization for solutions, such as PE, SHE, or Security

  • Participating in Site leadership activities and meetings as a representative of HNH36. This includes but is not limited to creation of presentations, participation in various committees, and employee engagement.

  • Securing Classified material if found in the facility while working with Security to determine origins and root cause by engaging with Security on all levels across ES Defense. This will require the ability to acquire a Security Clearance.

  • Working with SHE to lead a safety presence, in an effort to continue the safety culture that has been cultivated at HNH36. Across the industry, warehouse operations have high incidents rates, so vigilance is important. These activities will include submitting near misses, attending walkthroughs, submitting best practices.

  • Work with PE and the Property Owner to schedule activities, repairs, and preventative maintenance. This will include identifying the issue and communicating as many details as possible.

  • Once the appropriate party is identified for service, this may include facilitating the effort by coordination of the service call. This will also include any support needed for 3rd party services.

  • Oversight of the opening and closing of the facility and ensure all Security compliance protocols are being adhered to. Also identifying any issues and driving them to closure with the appropriate parties.

  • A strong understanding of Policies and Procedures of Government Property, Asset Management, SHE, Facilities, and Security to maintain compliance to DFAR and ISO 9100 regulations.

Additional Tasks

  • Work directly with Project team to ensure there is no stoppage of work and their plan adheres to our business continuity plan.

  • Work with storage request owners to find and ship their requests with a strong sense of urgency.

  • Work with request owners at various levels to understand expectations.

  • Hold and participate in warehouse tours to help these request owners understand HNH36 expectations.

  • Understand ESI (RFID Database) to interface the team with data points.

  • Monthly record retention

  • Monthly container inventory to ensure every request is in its correct location to reduce missing pallets and adhere to material control.

  • Ensure the data integrity.

  • Forklift training.

  • Sign visitors in after before 7am and after 3pm

  • Work with Site Admin to ensure coordinate Site level events.

  • Investigate all requests that reach our dock without paperwork and retrieve that paperwork.

  • Material ordering

  • Work with rigging companies when materials are being sent to and shipped from HNH36.

  • Perform PDRs and suggest goals to junior employees.

  • Participate in audits by updating metrics, talking to policy and procedure, and producing records.

  • Organize the storage racks to create more space for future growth.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 3 years Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse experience

  • 2 years of supervisory or people management

  • PIT Licensing

  • Microsoft Office

  • Database management

  • Inventory and Tracking skills

  • Must be able to walk and stand for long period of time

  • The ability to lift, pull, push, and manipulate material

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
