ManpowerGroup Public Relations Specialist in Hudson, New York
Our client, in Hudson, New York is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to join their team. As a Public Relations Specialist, you will be part of the community outreach specialist team executing the organization's outreach efforts to implement services for people with disabilities in Columbia and Greene Counties. The Outreach Specialist team is responsible for providing information about the center and its services. The Public Relations Specialist will be conducting presentations, making peer contacts, conducting direct outreach, delivering equipment and supplies to people with disabilities in the community. The job duties will align successfully with the organization initiatives.

$20/Hour
Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM
What’s the Job?
Transporting people with disabilities to appointments and in the community
Engage in outreach with partnering agencies
Attend weekly meetings, monthly agency staff meetings, and individual weekly supervision with program coordinator
Ensure proper and timely documentation of services including written reports.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization and with respective departments
Other duties as assigned
What’s Needed?
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not required
Valid Drivers License
Experience working with people with disabilities
Knowledgeable about independent Living philosophy
Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and strong organizational skills
Interpersonal charisma combined with outstanding oral and written communication skills
A collaborative work style and the ability to either take direction or work independently as the situation requires
Flexible and energetic, with an outcomes-based orientation
Self-starter who brings a creative approach to solving problems.
