Aerotek Skilled Mechanical Assembler in Hugo, Minnesota
SEEKING AN APPRENTICE MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER IN THE HUGO, MN AREA! $22-27/HOUR.
Job Description
Perform all necessary assembly routines before and after equipment has been painted
Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles
Install parts and sub-assemblies prior to and after the painting process
Install drive and pulleys
Update paperwork to reflect any changes
Operate equipment safely - Overhead Crane, Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, Jancey drills, Cutting Torch, and other equipment, as required
Operate forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of training certificate
Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment
Other duties as assigned
Hard Skills
Ability to read tape measure and converting of feet to inches and vice versa
Welding experience
Tool Identification
Safe operation of Overhead Crane, Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, handheld drills, Cutting Torch
Forklift operation with valid training certificate
