Aerotek Cnc Machinist (Nights) in HUMBLE, Texas
Description:
Oil and Gas company, EGC components manufactures plastic and rubber parts to support downstream operations. Client is currently looking for five CNC Lathe Machinists that have the ability to operate one or more CNC or manual machines to fabricate production parts to print specifications and quality standards in accordance with company schedules, policies and procedures. Performs other duties, incidental to the job as assigned. Learns to operate CNC machines FANUC and MAZAK under heavy supervision to fabricate plastic parts. This is a job shop candidate may run 2 to 3 set ups per shift or 2 to 3 set ups a week, depending on clients request. They also have doosan 600 and doosan 400 lathe 4-axis. Programs and operate VMC mills (Haas or Mazak) preferably to machine plastics, metal and rubber components.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years experience performing their own edits and set ups and be familiar with g codes and m codes.
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances( of finished work piece, sequence of operations, setup requirements and production rates.
Programs the parts and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as feed, speed, pressure variables and coolant flow
Experience working with up to 4-5 axis and +/- 1/2 in .0001 tolerance
3-5 years of experience on either fanuc or mazak
Once the machine is set up and before production begins, run dry cycle to ensure everything is safe and correct before actual production can start.
Pay/Shift:
$23-$28/hr
2nd shift 4Pm - 12AM occasional sat
