Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lean Practitioner to join the Orca Program in Huntington Beach, CA .

Position Responsibilities:

  • Connect Lean principles and strategy to execution and results – mature Seek, Speak, Listen and closed loop for continuous improvement

  • Lead and develop Lean strategies for Maritime & Intelligence Systems to include all facets/ functions of business

  • Develop and deploy systematic approach to capture and replicate best practices

  • Operationalize data analytics into daily Lean practice and priorities

  • Create robust communication strategy – integrate and connect businesses with deep partnerships across functions

  • Plan and deploy production system model area and replicate across business unit

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams

  • 5+ years of experience implementing lean principles

  • 10+ years of experience planning and facilitating Lean+ workshops (e.g., BPSM /AIW / 3P / Kaizen / VSM, Process Mapping, AIW, DK)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Project management certification

  • Knowledge of the Boeing Production System

Relocation :

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 20% of the time.

Summary pay range: $141,100 – $190,900
