Developmental Disabilities Institute School Custodian in Huntington, New York
Description
DDI's School Custodian is responsible for the general cleaning duties throughout their assigned building. DDI offers competetive beneifts, and ample paid time off.
Pay Range: $16.32 -$19.58 / hour
Responsibilities:
General cleaning duties throughout assigned building(s)
Operate stripping and buffing machinery and other cleaning machinery as assigned
Set up and take down for facility events
Must be available to stay late, come in early or work weekends for occasional projects or agency events as assigned
Change light bulbs
Move furniture
Rearrange offices and classrooms as needed
Requirements:
Have ability to perform general cleaning duties
NYS driver license and approved to drive DDI vehicles
Life and carry minimum of 30 lbs. For 20 feet
Twist/kneel/bend/squat/pull
Stand on minimum 6 ft. ladder
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
