The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Job Description:
We are currently hiring 2 Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team. The Maintenance Technicians will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, with a focus on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, Repair & Maintain Equipment: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on extrusion machines, injection molders, and related plastic manufacturing equipment.
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring efficient machine operation.
Electrical Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and systems operating on 480V.
Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation: Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform repairs and ensure accurate work.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and improve equipment longevity.
Safety Compliance: Strictly follow safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members, engineers, and production staff to minimize equipment downtime and resolve issues efficiently.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanical Skills: Solid background in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
Electrical Skills: 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience, including working with PLCs, motors, and 480V systems.
Blueprint & Schematic Reading: Ability to interpret technical documents such as equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Safety Knowledge: Strong knowledge and experience in safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and general workplace safety.
Plastic Manufacturing Experience (Preferred but not Required): Familiarity with extrusion, injection molding, and plastics production systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work with hand tools, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Desired Skills:
Preventive maintenance expertise
Knowledge of equipment repair and assembly (welders, lathes, mills, etc.)
Experience with mixing, grinding, and other plastic manufacturing equipment
Familiarity with injection molding and extrusion processes
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
