Aerotek Press Operator - NIGHT SHIFT in Huntsville, Alabama
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-temperature furnaces used in the production of tungsten powder. This role requires a strong understanding of furnace operations, safety protocols, and a keen attention to detail to ensure the highest quality product.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor high-temperature furnaces for the reduction and sintering of tungsten powder.
Set up furnace parameters according to production specifications.
Load and unload materials from the furnace while following safety protocols.
Ensure consistent furnace temperatures and proper material flow.
Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and meet production targets.
Perform routine maintenance on furnace equipment, including cleaning, repairs, and calibrations.
Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot and adjust furnace operations to correct any process deviations.
Document production data, such as temperatures, cycle times, and material usage.
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure the final product meets specifications.
