SAIC Program Support Specialist in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama

Description

SAIC is seeking a motivated and ambitious Program Support Specialist to join the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I) Joint Technology Center – Systems Integration Lab (JSIL) Tech and Cert Center. The PM Team Member will assist in administrating the planning, coordinating, and general support for the JSIL Program Management Cert and Tech team including coordinating hiring tasks, planning travel, maintaining resource schedules, and planning demonstration events. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal, Alabama and is a full time in person position.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage onboarding/offboarding process of new resources and other administrative duties for personnel management.

  • Organize and execute weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting duties and other contractual compliance requirements as needed.

  • Coordinating business travel arrangements for program employees.

  • Coordinating expense reports for program employees.

  • Scheduling meetings and activities, to include booking conference rooms, setting up conference calls, scheduling vendors, and on-site tours.

  • Meeting on-site visitors, conducting badging and sign-in duties during events and acting as Point of Contact between visitors and Government Program Leads

  • Coordinate the delivery and proof reading of programmatic reports to Project Leads as necessary.

  • Set up and tear down on-site meetings and briefings.

  • General government and SAIC leadership support.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline OR minimum six (6) years of related experience.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint) and common office software applications is required.

  • Experience working with corporate travel systems and software is preferred.

  • Experience coordinating schedules and events with government personnel is preferred.

  • Capable to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Experience writing technical documentation is a plus.

  • Experience with Atlassian workflow management software is a plus.

  • Basic understand or experience with software development or software testing is a plus.

  • Experience creating automated systems is a plus.

Required Clearance:

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
