ELEIT Technology, Inc Senior Technical Writer/Graphics Specialist in Huntsville, Alabama
Senior technical writer capable of performing technical manual development and updates for PM AMSA products using Arbortext XML editor and graphics programs to create/manipulate vector and raster graphics. This includes CECOM and AMCOM technical manuals. Individual must have experience with Army COTS manual policy and writing and developing technical manuals to MIL-STD-40051, MIL-STD-38784, MIL-PRF 63002, and MIL-PRF-63029. Individual must have experience with Validation/Verifications, Extensible Markup Language (XML) files, vector and raster files, developing Repair Parts and Special Tools Listing from LSA030 reports. Must be familiar with integrating Publication Change Requests (PCR) into MIL-STD compliant XML work packages and integrate into corresponding technical manuals and can manipulate illustrations. Must have a clear understanding of Army Aviation technical manuals, MWOs, PCRs, XML tagging, Parsing, troubleshooting, iADS, and have the ability to take raw data (TDP) and develop required technical manual inputs/updates. Experience with reviewing and interpreting drawings and technical Data Packages and develop MIL-STD-40051 compliant work packages along with RPSTL updates to facilitate validation and verification activities. Familiarity with coordinating Validation/Verification and Authentication practices. SME for technical publication requirements that will interact with PM AMSA product offices to assist with contract language and deliverable requirements for technical manuals. Expected to assist with development of maintenance task analysis using data from the TDP, LORA, and FMECA to provide recommendations and parts lists.
