Jacobs ESSCA Group Thermal/Fluids Engineer #ADV0008N8 in Huntsville, Alabama
This position provides leadership in thermal design, analysis, and test support of various NASA Space System projects such as:
Human Landing System (HLS) to deliver American astronauts the first woman and next man on the Moons south pole
International Space Station (ISS) environmental variables controls, and experimental payloads thermal/fluids support
Space Launch Systems (SLS) Avionics Thermal/Fluids support
Ground Support and Test Equipment
Spacecraft Thermal/Fluids support
Job Requirements:
A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of experience is required. A degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred.
The Successful candidate shall have:
Proficiency with thermal test set up support, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experienced in thermal desktop code and thermal testing
Deep understanding/ knowledge of orbital thermal environment development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with NASA standards and MSFC Specifications
Experience with leading engineering teams
