  • Greet visitors in the Adult Education Center.
  • Assist students in completing the intake/enrollment form.
  • Answer phones, respond as required, transfer calls, and takes messages.

{=html} <!-- --> - Schedule orientation and prepare students files for data entry. - Check student files for structure and completion and correspond with teachers and the Career Coach to ensure file completion. - Ensure student files are filed correctly and secured

{=html} <!-- --> - Enter and maintain data in the LACES database system for all faculty and staff - Enter all intake, testing and attendance sheets into LACES and maintain accurate and detailed recordkeeping - Assist Director of Adult Education and Assistant Director in ensuring instructional staff are meeting the student post-test hours and keeping up with class attendance sheets. - Keep the Adult Education Director fully informed of significant matters pertaining to LACES and program compliance of the center and consult freely with him/her concerning such matters - Make recommendations pertaining to LACES policy and procedure to the Director of Adult Education

{=html} <!-- --> - Administer TABE and TABE Clas-e testing as needed - Provide clear explanation of the purpose of each test - Provide accurate clear instructions on computer-based TABE testing. - Provide accurate and clear instructions on completing TABE Clas-e answer sheets and writing folios. - Duplicate and distribute test reports as needed.

  • Assist students, faculty and the Career Coach as needed with orientation and follow up.
  • Classroom monitoring and support
  • Student instruction as needed (under the guidance of the classroom instructor)
  • Any other duties as required or assigned.
  • Occasional travel may be required between county sites.
