Need 8 full-time, seasonal, temporary Farmworkers to work in Hutchinson, MN. From: 06/01/2024 - 09/08/2024 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day Must Apply By: 07/21/2024 JOB DUTIES: Planting, sampling nursery, tagging, trials packaging, trials sorting, crop inventory, staking plots, warehouse cleaning and upkeep, irrigation and farmstead maintenance. Drive and maintain farm equipment including tractors and combines. Operate MudMaster self-propelled sprayer and/or backpack sprayer with proper safety equipment. Salary increases, bonuses are based upon skill, experience and merit. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience in all duties listed. Must be able to operate tractors, combines, and MudMaster self-propelled sprayer and/or backpack sprayer with proper safety equipment. Able to lift 80 lbs. Valid Driver's License or able to obtain upon hire. Able to perform work requiring exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive sitting and walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
