Sales Enablement Program Manager
Job Description:
Reporting to the Manager (or Senior Manager) Sales Enablement, the Sales Enablement Program Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering Sales Enablement that drives sales effectiveness and productivity. The Sales Enablement Program Manager will deliver Enablement Programs aligned to regional Enablement plans. They will work collaboratively across Sage to define and deliver Enablement Programs and “Always On” Enablement which will include a mix of formal training content and bringing concepts to life through coaching of practical application.
In partnership with the Manager (or Senior Manager) Sales Enablement, the Sales Enablement Program Manager will proactively assess current and ongoing enablement needs, design and implement onboarding and continuous development programs, and measure the impact of the programs against agreed performance outcomes. From initial colleague onboarding through to enhanced skills development adopting a culture and concept of continuous improvement as we enhance skills and competence across all Sales roles.
Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Sales Enablement colleagues to drive sales effectiveness through onboarding and continuous enablement
• Delivers Manager Coaching and performance clinics aligned to the Sales Academy
• Provide subject matter and regional expertise to develop and/or co-develop (with Learning Services) skills and process enablement
• They will deliver 2-3 Programs in parallel
• Coach and drive adoption of skills to meet competency requirements and sales goals
• Deliver skills and processes for onboarding for new sellers
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop and deliver sales enablement content
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop and deliver sales enablement assets, training, and coaching focused on:
o Initiatives within the sales, solution consulting
o Reducing time to productivity for sales roles
o Improving sellers’ ability to differentiate through the sales process
o Innovation to drive a culture of coaching
• Deliver skills and process training for strategic initiatives for regional sales craft colleagues
• Build and deliver skills sessions and provide ongoing coaching to Sales Leaders, focusing on leveraging tools, dashboards, and reports so they can coach sellers
• Measure performance improvement and address gaps through coaching, role plays, and activities
• Regularly report the impact of Enablement activity against agreed performance outcomes and objectives
Requirements:
• Proven successful sales experience related to the sales organization to be supported
• Experience of Sales Enablement methods and approaches
• Organised with a natural inclination for planning
• Ability to lead discrete pieces of work and be seen as an expert in this field
• Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Active listening skills
• Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
• Innovative, seeks new ways of working and not afraid to challenge status quo. Open to experimentation and supporting others to do the same
• Strong presence with ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at mid to senior levels
• Strong Business acumen and understanding of Sage organisational issues and challenges
• Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
• Comfortable with ambiguity and delivering with agility
