BrightStar Care Hospital at Home- Registered Nurse (RN) in Hyde Park, Illinois

Do you have experience as an Acute Care RN? Join Brightstar Care in partnership with a leading hospital system to launch a groundbreaking Hospital at Home program. We are looking for RN's to provide high-quality, at-home acute care. The position requires acute care competencies, along with an ability to work independently in an at-home setting.  What We Offer: * Competitive Pay * 401(k) * Health Insurance * Free Training * Part of a team with RN Oversight * Employee referral bonus * Mobile shift access * Weekly pay w/ direct deposit * Joint Commission accredited  Responsibilities * Utilize monitoring, assessment, planning, intervention and critical thinking skills to care for acute care patient populations in the home. * Conduct home and audio/visual patient care visits as directed by the care team and/or protocol. * Ensure all interventions in the patient's care plan are implemented efficiently with a patient centered approach. * Adhere to the clinical protocols and be willing to obtain the necessary training to provide care within the context of the providing evidence-based care. * Promote professional practice and a culture of safety; willingness to engage in process improvement efforts. Requirements * Associate Degree required * 2 years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting.  Home health experience preferred. * Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and proof of vehicle liability insurance. * Must be able to communicate effectively in English. * Demonstration of core competencies will be completed within 90 days.. * Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray * Ability to work on weekends, nights and holidays * Reliable transportation * Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
