General Summary:

The LETUS (Lab Equipment Tracking & Utilization System) project is responsible for establishing the infrastructure and processes to track and improve high-value equipment utilization, increase pooling, and provide comprehensive dashboards to analyze and visualize equipment deployment across Qualcomm.

As a data infrastructure engineer in this program, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop Python code to analyze operational aspects of network infrastructure

  • Develop Python code to mine data from field deployment, and various other sources, to provide business insight

  • Work with NoSQL and SQL technologies

  • Use Python to process and associate data from various sources into a coherent view

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports that are visible to our users, developers, and executives

  • Collaborate with team members, leads, and users to identify business needs and come up with a BI solution to meet these needs

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience with Python

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with Python

  • Familiarity with python data science libraries

  • Full-stack development experience

  • Experience with optimized DB design

  • Experience with Power BI/Splunk

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
