General Summary:
The LETUS (Lab Equipment Tracking & Utilization System) project is responsible for establishing the infrastructure and processes to track and improve high-value equipment utilization, increase pooling, and provide comprehensive dashboards to analyze and visualize equipment deployment across Qualcomm.
As a data infrastructure engineer in this program, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop Python code to analyze operational aspects of network infrastructure
Develop Python code to mine data from field deployment, and various other sources, to provide business insight
Work with NoSQL and SQL technologies
Use Python to process and associate data from various sources into a coherent view
Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports that are visible to our users, developers, and executives
Collaborate with team members, leads, and users to identify business needs and come up with a BI solution to meet these needs
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2+ years of experience with Python
Preferred qualifications:
4+ years of experience with Python
Familiarity with python data science libraries
Full-stack development experience
Experience with optimized DB design
Experience with Power BI/Splunk
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
