Responsibilities and Impact:
Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based applications and infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure, ensuring optimal performance, high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
Oversee the development of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, enhancing automation and efficiency in managing cloud resources.
Direct and refine container orchestration strategies using Kubernetes.
Architect and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Azure DevOps to improve software delivery processes.
Enforce compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Conduct in-depth analysis and optimization of cloud resources for performance enhancements and cost-efficiency.
Spearhead collaboration with development teams and stakeholders to architect cloud solutions that align with project requirements and best practices.
Lead, mentor, and provide strategic direction to junior cloud engineers and team members, fostering professional growth and team excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven leadership skills and experience in leading cloud engineering teams.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Advanced proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and cloud application development.
Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools.
In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize across both platforms.
Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies and the ability to lead teams in an Agile environment.
Comprehensive understanding of cloud networking concepts and hands-on experience with VPCs, subnetting, and routing.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, with the ability to lead container strategy and implementation.
Experience in serverless computing, specifically writing AWS Lambdas or Azure Cloud Functions.
Proficiency in log tracing and debugging using tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, DataDog, or similar.
Advanced experience in managing cloud identity services such as AWS Managed Active Directory or Azure Active Directory.
