In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
5+ years of Java development experience with working knowledge of Springboot and microservice architecture
5+ years’ experience of full stack development experience- Angular experience utilizing version 6 or higher
5+ years of Oracle experience in designing, coding and delivering database applications
Expert knowledge and considerable development experience with at least two or more of the following: Java, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript or other web development languages or standards
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and how to implement your designs in Java
Ability to build web applications including graphic elements, overall organization and navigational structure, layout, development, usability of web pages and forms for ease-of-use
Knowledge and understanding of application deployment model: design, implementation, and maintenance to multiple environments
Job Expectations:
Strong experience using the development ecosystem of applications (JIRA, ALM, GitHub, uDeploy/Harness, Jenkins, Artifactory, SVN, etc)
Working experience of Agile
Knowledge of Kafka, Redis
Architect and build scalable applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Financial services experience
Good analytical & debugging skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Ability to take part in and conduct code reviews
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to drive the requirements process with both technical and business partners
Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
