About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for providing HR business partnership that results in an engaged workforce and a more productive business. You will be responsible for supporting people strategies, overseeing all day-to-day HR activities in Gap Inc. Hyderabad Development Center, providing thought leadership to leaders in alignment with business strategy; developing and executing talent strategies and partnering with key HR functions to deliver results.
What You'll Do
Understand business priorities and work with business leaders to develop people priorities and deliver HR strategy
Connect the links between the business and HR strategy and process delivery
Understand workforce needs and ensure business is set up for success in terms of resourcing (budget, bench, span of control etc) and capabilities
Coach leaders in HR Processes, Talent Development and creating a high performance culture
Partner with HR functions to manage the entire employee lifecycle from headcount management & optimization, hiring, induction & onboarding, performance & talent management, rewards & recognition & employee engagement.
Continuously look to improve & evolve org structure to optimize org design and plan for future org success, i.e. span and layers, bench planning, cross-geographical balance of talent
Change Management – manage the change process and ensure effective communication during business or org changes and transitions
Collaborate and influence HR partners, cross-functional teams, and business leaders to achieve required business results
Participate in/Lead projects for continuous improvement in P&C process delivery
Who You Are
Experience in planning and delivering people strategies for a business organization, preferably in sizable technology companies
Sound working knowledge of concepts and procedures specific to HR business partnering and HR management
Ability to influence and make recommendations and decisions cross-functionally in a matrix environment (ensuring speed and cultural sensitivity)
Can proactively solve problems and effectively manage multiple challenges
Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
