Primary Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for providing detailed design of the cloud data warehouse solution to the scrum teams
Guide and coach the team to deliver on the proposed design
Will lead data mapping and design sessions, participate in code reviews, and conduct research and analysis to troubleshoot issues
This role is responsible for conducting complex data analysis across multiple data domains; e.g. medical claims, eligibility, Rx, etc. when new data sources are introduced, existing sources have changes, and enhancements are required per NCQA specifications or business stakeholders
Responsibilities also include engagement with technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose approaches to meet current and future needs with ability to present findings/recommendations at multiple levels in the organization
Role requires stay up to date on Quality measures, NCQA changes and impact to the technical solutions and business outcomes
Also will include performance optimization and fine tuning of queries
Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes
Build a healthy relationship with project stakeholders/business partners

Mentor new talent

Required Qualifications:
B.Tech./MCA/Graduation (Minimum 15 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant)
15+ years of total experience
2+ years of experience working with snowflake, Exposure to below with solid SQL Skills
Snowpark experience
Stored procedures / Functions in SQL, Java script and other languages
Understand the integration of snowflake with other external applications like Azure blobs, Databricks
Snowflake system architecture & proven snowflake optimization experience
Exposure in Databricks skills: 2+ years
Exposure in Azure cloud: 2+ years
Exposure with Data integration tools [Data stage or other ETL tools] : 5+ years
Data Engineering (Modelling, Data Pipeline and solid Data analysis experience): 5+ years
Ability to analyze complex data requirements and design appropriate data models
Solid Health care and HEDIS experience 5+ years
Having Big Data Experience (Hive, spark, MapR FS): 3+ years
Experience closely working with US Stakeholders: 3+ years
Experience with Grafana, Airflow
Excellent problem-solving skills to address data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and scalability concerns
Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and methodologies
Proven great attitude (Self Starter, very accountable and great collaborator)
Proven great communication skills
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: Source Code management, CI/CD pipeline, unit testing, code reviews, telemetry, agile and DevOps
