Microsoft Corporation Principal Software Engineering Manager in Hyderabad, India
On the Microsoft Defender for Office team (MDO), we are responsible for delivering a cloud-based email and message filtering service that protects customers from advanced threats (malware, phish, fraud and spam) in Microsoft’s email and Teams collaboration workloads. MDO provides investigation, threat hunting and remediation capabilities that allow security teams to efficiently identify, prioritize, investigate, and respond to threats.
Responsibilities
Our team is seeking a Principal Engineering Manager to drive the delivery of protections and experiences for email collaboration scenarios. In this role you will be responsible for helping design, architect, build, release and manage some of the core security solutions of M365. You will be partnering with multiple internal / external teams across the organization and across disciplines to lead the ongoing innovation, adoption, and evolution of the services. We are looking for a leader with experience in information security, software development and passionate about leading the next generation security solutions to achieve strategic goals

Qualifications: Other Requirements
Bachelors or Masters in computer science, engineering or equivalent
10+ years of software development experience with C#, C++ or Java
5+ years of professional experience in building and managing highly scalable, secure, available and resilient Tier-0 cloud services
3+ years of leadership experience leading software engineering teams that designed, architected security / compliance related products/services.
