As Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be predominantly involved in developing and automating business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. You will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. This is more than a challenging development role. This is high performance technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery
Design, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams
Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality release
Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
Mentor team members on Automation frameworks
Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them
Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results
Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality
Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality

Required Qualifications:
B. Tech./MCA/ M. Tech (Minimum 16 years of formal education)
Total experience of 7+ years with solid technical background and at least 4+ years of experience working in Java or Javascript/Typescript OR QA automations
Experience in Selenium/Cypress/Playwright
Hands on coding experience in Core Java, J2EE, spring ecosystem
Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives
Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
In-depth knowledge implementing test automation using either UFT, Selenium or SPOCK
Solid working knowledge of TDD & BDD
Knowledge on Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, RabbitMQ, Openshift
Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Health care industry experience
Knowledge on Spock
