As Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be predominantly involved in developing and automating business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. You will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. This is more than a challenging development role. This is high performance technology.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to delivery

  • Design, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teams

  • Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality release

  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation

  • Mentor team members on Automation frameworks

  • Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them

  • Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results

  • Ensure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of quality

  • Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • B. Tech./MCA/ M. Tech (Minimum 16 years of formal education)

  • Total experience of 7+ years with solid technical background and at least 4+ years of experience working in Java or Javascript/Typescript OR QA automations

  • Experience in Selenium/Cypress/Playwright

  • Hands on coding experience in Core Java, J2EE, spring ecosystem

  • Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives

  • Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.

  • In-depth knowledge implementing test automation using either UFT, Selenium or SPOCK

  • Solid working knowledge of TDD & BDD

  • Knowledge on Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, RabbitMQ, Openshift

  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Health care industry experience

  • Knowledge on Spock
