Job Title: Senior Software Engineer-IT (I7 grade); Hyderabad

About Business Unit:

Dell's IT Services organization, Fulfillment System, Supply chain Management, team is hiring a Consultant - to deliver on initiatives for our global cross segment customers. Responsibilities will include Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents software according to Dell’s systems quality standards, policies and procedures. Analyzes business needs and creates software solutions. Responsible for preparing design documentation. Works with business and development teams to clarify requirements to ensure testability. Drafts, revises, and maintains test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. Fulfillment IT team is an essential part of the Dell Supply Chain Platform team - building solutions that allows our customers to deliver on Dell's current and transformational initiatives. You will play a defining role in the continuing evolution of Dell’s Supply chain Product transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

•Be a key part of the full product development life cycle of software applications

•Investigate and resolve complex issues in connected application stack

•Research, validate and recommend key technology decisions for the core platform

•Developing API-driven micro-services that combine into large and complex platforms

•Planning and executing highly parallel distributed object storage transformations and migrations

•Maintaining automated test suites using CI/CD tools and knowledge on GITLab

•Identify technical debt, derive workable plan & proposal for rewrites - technology advancements that could potentially benefit business / IT

Essential Requirements:

•Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science

•10+ years of Software Engineering Experience with considerable years systems re-engineering from legacy to latest technologies

•Experience in architecting and implementing highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems

•Good technical understanding of .Net core , C#, ASP.Net, WCF, MVC architecture is required

•Technical understanding of Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP and WSDL is required

•Experience with SQL, NoSQL Database and coding

•Technical understanding of Angular JS, Node JS is added Advantage

•Experience with scripting languages: e.g., Python is added Advantage

•Technical understanding of Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP and WSDL is required

Desirable Requirements:

•Work experience with an enterprise software or web company is important

•Good written and oral communication skills

•Software development experience in any of the Cloud (Azure/AWS/Pivotal)

•Exposure to mature development processes including use of source code control systems like GIT
