As a Software Engineer in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will have the opportunity solve challenging technical problems and contribute to the development, delivery and operation of cloud services that will enable the smooth operation of Oracle’s Corporate Identity program.
This is an opportunity to identify better ways to secure Oracle’s corporate applications, ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding of employees, improve the UX of employees interacting with the Corporate Identity service offerings,
For this engineering role we are seeking an individual with experience in Identity services and deliverables, knowledge of operational processes of massive identity product offerings, and capabilities in software development, software validation, debugging and documentation in a DevOps approach using modern tools and languages. We seek individuals with evolved soft skills in addition to technical acumen. Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate with others are hallmarks.
Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development
Responsibilities
Support and maintain the Corporate Identity service offering
Work with Oracle employees via a ticketing system to ensure that they have the appropriate access to the appropriate applications
Improve and implement security controls around such access
Cloud service design for availability, scalability, observability and testability
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
Launching new cloud services and establishing operational excellence in a DevOps model.
Work collaboratively to realize and achieve the technical vision of the team
Ability to engage with geographically distributed engineering teams.
Ensuring compliance to software development standards, processes and best practices
Qualifications
Familiarity with corporate-wide Identity systems or similar service offerings
Experience with supporting a user base of 150K employees
Experience collaborating with geo-distributed teams.
Training and experience in software implementation, code and design review, failure root cause analysis
Familiarity with the concepts of availability, observability, scalability, testability, recoverability
BS/CS Computer Science or related field and software development experience with modern programming languages

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
