Job Description
While we don’t stipulate hard minimum requirements, a suitable baseline includes:
B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5+ years of Software Engineering experience working on challenging issues with a self-starter and self-motivated attitude.
Proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, Webservers
Utilize standard software development practices and procedures towards scoping, specification, development, source control, documentation and testing of features.
Experience in building microservices and RESTful services
Excellent team player with good communication skills and be capable of working well across teams from different geographies.
Experience in HTML, Javascript, CSS and having worked on building frontend applications is desirable
Career Level - IC2
Responsibilities
As a Software Developer (IC2) in our team, you’ll be responsible for designing and building resilient software components and services to support Oracle Food and Beverage platform. As a developer on the team, you will contribute to software development lifecycle, from design, development, testing, to production. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, and exhibit your technical skills. Java development experience is must. Other recommended tools and technologies may include HTML/JavaScript, Jetty Webserver, Struts, Rest APIs, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, JAX-RS/Jersey, OAuth/OAuth2, OpenID Connect, among others.
