Interested in building the next generation Financial System that can handle billions of dollars in transactions, various regulatory and compliance requirements across multiple geographies, and take Amazon finance operations into the future?

Payables Tech org processes invoices and other related transactions for vendor payments across all business lines and geographies. This is a role in one of the teams in the Payables Tech org that is focussed on building the next-gen payables ingestion pipeline to source, adapt and streamline the invoices and other related documents that Amazon is liable to pay to vendors. In this role, you'll work on the next generation payables processing system that is being built to support Retail, Corporate and Digital businesses. You'll work on building this tech stack in native AWS, migrating the existing businesses to it and deprecating the legacy stack.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
