What you will do

In this vital role you will will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP-PI), Integration Business Planning, and Production Planning and Detailed scheduling solution across all the Amgen manufacturing sites. This role focuses on using SAP S/4 technologies to streamline and enhance Planning processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry standard methodologies. As an SAP Solution architect, you will work closely with operations IT and business customers to gather requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in the implementation of SAP S/4 MRP and PP/DS with a solid grasp of SAP MM and PP modules
Solution design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4 Production Planning, MRP and PP/DS solutions across all Amgen manufacturing sites
Handle SAP S/4 data integrations with external planning systems for supply and demand planning
Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Create and maintain critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, release, and post-production support.
Apply Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
What we expect of you
Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree with 4 – 6 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modules OR,
Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modules OR,
Diploma with 10 - 12 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP APO and PP-DS modules
Strong hands-on experience in implementing SAP S/4 PP/DS with in-depth Knowledge of Advance Planning and Scheduling on S4 HANA, Demand Planning (DP), Supplier network collaboration (SNC) and Supply Network Planning (SNC) and CIF interface
Configuration experience in PP/DS alert profile, work area, propagation range, safety profile and optimization profile
Experience in defining DS planning board profile, Firming, Pegging, Setup times, converting planned orders in PP/DS, Product view Product planning table, Detailed scheduling planning and PP/DS optimizer
Experience with make-to-stock, make-to-order and planning with final assembly scenarios.
Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP IBP, Advance ATP and Supplier collaboration with Ariba SCC
Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.
Professional Certifications:
Production planning with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS
Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Superb communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams and key customers.
Thorough with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
