AT&T Sr Specialist Applications Development in Hyderabad, India

Job Description:

Overall Purpose – to support CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) team using NZC (Net Zero Cloud) platform and assist in delivering on time solutions based on client needs. Solution delivery is based on AT&T / Industry security and delivery standards.

Job Overview

Play a vital role in ensuring highest quality for back-end and front-end of CSR NZC platform. Responsible for implementing software changes, debugging, and identifying corrective actions for overall functioning of the application. Responsible for reviewing requirements, make system updates, conduct needed testing with users and deploy changes using pipelines. A key aspect of this role involves reviewing client needs, make needed changes to the application, conduct unit/integration tests, perform UAT prior to deployments to ensure application software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and remains secure and cost-effective.

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Work on day to day client support – Analyze tickets/change requests, perform needed software enhancements/changes, test/UAT, deploy as per AT&T standards

• Perform on-time data loads to Azure SQL DB, address any issues during data load

• Review and address Astra security alerts

• Run software scans and address open items

• Run Salesforce release validations, check impacts to application, make needed changes to ensure no impacts to application

• Review enhancement requests, make design changes, test, deploy

• Address cost containment initiatives pertaining to Azure resources

• Perform Azure infra changes (such as create PEs in line with AT&T and MS recommendations)

• Enable Splunk onboarding for infra, job etc monitoring

• Run pipelines to create/delete/update Azure resources and update pipelines as needed to keep pipelines updates and current

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Stay up to date with latest AT&T / Industry standard tools and technologies.

• Document all changes being made to application

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Salesforce development using latest version of Salesforce Apex programing language and IDEs

• Strong knowledge and experience in front-end and back-APIs and Salesforce infrastructure including administration

• Strong knowledge and experience in developing and managing data exchange between Mulesoft and Salesforce

• Strong knowledge and experience in ETL (Extract, transform, load) jobs and load data into tools such as Azure data factory, Azure SQL.

• Strong knowledge and experience in application development using Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems and opensource frameworks experience (e.g., Github, JFrog, .Net). Object-oriented programming experience (e.g., .Net).

• Strong knowledge and experience with database technologies and scripting (e.g., relational, SQL, python, javascript, etc.)

• Code reviews and analyzers. Secure network protocol and tools experience (e.g., SFTP, JDBC, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), TLS, OpenSSL, etc.). Web API experience and architectural styles (e.g., REST), ability to create and modify batch jobs

• Strong knowledge of experience of software methodologies and processes

• Strong knowledge and experience with CI/CD and platforms, Azure Dev Ops

• Experience with configuration management systems (e.g., svn, git, etc.)

• Experience with Linux and with Linux-based test applications and utilities (e.g., curl, shell scripts, etc.)

• Experience with web applications servers and containers (e.g., IIS, Tomcat, Docker, etc.)

• Experience with automation frameworks and platforms (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.)

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

• Experience with performance and/or security testing
