Seminole Gaming MAINTENANCE WORKER I (Full Time) in Immokalee, Florida

SUMMARY

The professional in this position reports to the Supervisor of Facilities and is responsible for general maintenance duties in all areas of the property. Duties are dependent on needs and projects and vary in scope to include Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and Carpentry.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • One or two years of experience with commercial/industrial maintenance preferred; or an equivalent combination of related education and/or work experience to include Plumbing, Electrical, and/or HVAC.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job, team member is regularly required to stand or walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and speak or listen.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception.

  • Position requires bending, lifting and carrying supplies and equipment up to 70 pounds.

  • With assistance, required to lift or carry items in excess of 70 pounds, push/pull carts and/or items weighing several hundred pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the duties and responsibilities of this position.

  • Will be exposed to casino related factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise, large crowds and stress related to servicing guests in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
