Job Description:
As a Food Runner, you will work closely with our Food Servers to ensure the efficient delivery of food orders to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Food Server in serving guests, ensuring that orders are delivered promptly and accurately. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights, and continual customer contact. Your role is essential in creating a positive dining experience for our guests and supporting the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Food Server in delivering food orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order delivery and ensure that all guest requests are fulfilled.
Clear and reset tables promptly to prepare for the next guest seating, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Ensure that all condiments, utensils, and other necessary items are stocked and readily available for guests.
Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and inquiries.
Collaborate with the Food Server and other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a food runner or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Refined verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights for extended periods.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others and exceed guest expectations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
