We are looking for Certified Medical Assistants at our healthcare facility in Independence, MO!
Job Summary:
As a Medical Assistant, you will ensure a positive and welcoming experience for members and their families from arrival to departure. This role involves guiding members, updating records, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional customer service.
Pay: $21-$23 per hour
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
6 months of phlebotomy experience (a big plus!)
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or similar healthcare training
BLS certification
Experience with EClinicalWorks or similar EMR
Experience with geriatric patients is a bonus

Strong communication skills
Excellent critical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
Experience with claims/quality reports and analytical software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel occasionally for meetings
